ARCHERY INSTRUCTOR
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years or older.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Current Certified Basic Archery or have willingness to obtain certification.
Adult Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate or willing and able to obtain.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements:
Participate in mandated pre-camp training and attend all scheduled advisory meetings.
Provide workshops on archery for campers of all ages and abilities.
Maintain health and safety standards for campers and self.
Ensure that a well-equipped first aid kit is maintained and that all necessary paperwork
for first aid is completed.
Maintains contact with the Director regarding the health status of campers.
Reports accidents and files incident reports promptly.
Responsible for keeping the Camp Director informed of need for repairs of equipment and facilities.
Maintains professional relationship with campers and staff throughout the camp season.
Ability to effectively communicate and work with a diverse group of staff and campers.
Experience in assisting with developing and delivering sports programs in a prior sports setting.

Job Description:
​
The Instructor will teach fundamentals of target and field archery shooting, history, terminology, scoring, and rules. It will be necessary for the instructor to demonstrate, take attendance, and conduct exercises for skill improvement, create lesson plans, field student questions, repair equipment as needed, and set up and take down range prior to and after each session.
​
Salary is $45 for each 30 minute session, averaging 4 sessions per day, 5 days a week.
Job Description:

The Instructor will provide simulations and demonstrations of the fundamentals of wilderness survival skills, including fire-making, signaling, navigation, shelter-building, tool-making, gathering, trapping, wild edible identification, water purification, and food preparation.

Salary is $60 for each 120 minute session, averaging 3 sessions per day, 5 days a week.

WILDERNESS SURVIVAL INSTRUCTOR

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years or older.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Adult Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate or willing and able to obtain.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in Park Management,
Biological Science, Forestry,
Experience in planning, organizing, or conducting natural resources environmental
/cultural/historical programs, special events, or activities.

Childcare: 1 year (Preferred).

Job Description:

The Assistant Group Leader will help facilitate activities designed to enrich the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional growth of children, through day program activities, including hiking, animal care, gardening, and team building. Staff are responsible to make sure that children are engaged in developmentally appropriate activities in a fun outdoor environment, and assist children to realize their potential and the integral roles they play as members of a larger group.
​
Salary is $80 for each 8 hour day, averaging 5 days a week.

We Have Ongoing Needs for Volunteers
Job Description:

Volunteers will help guide children, through day program activities, including hiking, animal care, gardening, and team building. Volunteers will also assist in grounds-keeping and maintenance of the camp, including transporting and arranging firewood, cleaning of the lodge, and clearing trails of obstacles.
